I just started my website about 3 months ago. I want to stay at home with children and be a PTA mom :)

I want to work at home fulltime but have to let my site age and hopefully get some good sales first.
I wanted to know what people thought of my site
Is it designed ok to attract customers or does it need a little redesign?

I still work fulltime to pay the bills. So I basically am my own webmaster.

Any suggestions welcome

Alexcis,
I viewed your site, it really looks nice. My daughter is grown and married now, but I still work at home. I sell Tupperware online and offline, we still have to have those parties. I also just started another business that I plan to incorporate into my Tupperware, it's Wine tasting. Please view my site when you get a chance.

Hello Alexcis

Nice site, soft colors and the link exchange is a good idea! You have a target market~ If you haven't already, do some networking on MySpace and the WAHMS message boards.
Massive Traffic is a key to winning on the internet. I got 500 visitors this week from running a Free screen saver!

Hi Alexis,
While I am not a webmaster, I have taken a teleclass on websites, so take my suggestions for what they're worth! :-)

Your site passes the 'tests' I learned about in my teleclass:
1) little scrolling to see the front page
2) people should be able to identify within 3 seconds what you are selling
3) it's easy to make a purchase with your cart

The couple of suggestions I have are:
1) your blue/lavendar links on the left side are a little hard to read because your color is so light
2) your beginning statement about your dream turning into reality (congratulations on that), doesn't belong on your front page. Most people won't care about your dreams, remember WIIFM (what's in it for me). I would move that statement to your 'contact us' page. Your statement "I take pride in carrying the best of the best. I choose my products with the same care as choosing gifts for my family." is good and lets people know you take pride in the gifts you offer.

Good luck with your new business and congratulations on making a dream of yours a reality!

What a cute site! As a future customer (daughter is only one), I liked the layout, the products, the colors, everything would appeal to a little girl or a 'tween girl and their moms!
