Here's something I found that you may find interesting.......
"On a beautiful spring day some 50 years ago, two friends, Walter and Arthur, were chatting. Walter was explaining to Arthur his vision for a project that would turn acres of farmland into a vacation paradise. It would be so popular that people would travel from all over the world to spend time there.
As Walter explained his vision, he urged Arthur to begin buying all the land that surrounded the farmland Walter was eyeing. He reckoned that land would be worth many times its current value once the farmland had been developed.
Although Arthur had the resources to purchase the land, he hesitated ... for days ... and then weeks. The weeks? Well, they turned into months. And the months into years.
Arthur did nothing ... for a long, long time. Maybe he was content with his current financial position. Maybe he was just unwilling to take a chance. Maybe he couldn't clearly envision the dreams of his friend, Walter.
Though a dramatic change was on the horizon for the little town of Anaheim California, Art Linkletter refused to heed the good advice of his best friend, Walt Disney.
The Disney empire grew onto a multi-billion dollar enterprise. Because Art Linkletter chose not to act, he was never able to capitalize on the real estate bonanza that followed the opening of Disneyland."
